three!!!

ella turned three today. i have been told that three is much more challenging than two. it is as if she woke this morning knowing (so she thought) that she could get away with anything. not the case. she soon found out that rules must be followed, even on her birthday. it was crazy! her noise level increased tenfold. her brain must have some malfunction that made her think that turning three meant turning up the volume that comes out. i am sure that it is not the case, but it seems that all i said today is "ella, you can talk, just don't be so loud." if today was any indication of what three has in store, she won't see four; make that she won't see november.
